The history of Republic Day Of India.
➤The Constitution Of India came into power on 26th January 1950 and so the Republic Day Of India is officially celebrated every year on 26 January as India became an independent republic. As everybody knows that India got freedom from British rule after a long struggle, on August 15, 1947. Since India did not have its own official constitution then the country under the rule of King George VI and Mountbatten who was the Governor-General and so the law in India at that time based on the Act Of 1935.
➤On January 26,1950 when the Indian Constitution came into effect and made India one of the biggest democracies all around the world and to honor this day the Republic Day Of India is celebrated with great enthusiasm every year on 26th January.

➤Dr.Bheem Rao Ambedkar being appointed as chairman of a drafting committee and the object of this committee was to draft the constitution of India and this committee worked very hard and submitted their first draft on November 4, 1947, to constituent Assembly. The constitution of India was adopted on 26th November 1949 by the constituent Assembly. It took 2 years 11 months and 18 days to finalize it. And it made effective on and adopted on 26th January 1950.
➤The Republic Day Of India is celebrated annually as it is the anniversary of
the day India became the Independent Republic. Flag hoisting ceremonies and
parades by armed force and school children are held in various parts of the country
on this day. The main celebration of Republic Day is held in the capital of India
i.e. New Delhi in presence of the President of India. Chief Guest from other countries leader invites every year
on Republic Day.
➤ There are different cultural events, speeches, parades, and numerous cultural activities are held and performed in different parts of India on this great day celebration. All Schools, All Governments Offices, all organizations, and all political offices are made arrangements to celebrate this great day and the people of India heartily celebrate this amazing Republic Day Of India every year.
