Vasant Panchami is also known as Basant Panchami or Shree Panchami; and is believed to worship Maha Saraswati, who is Goddess of Knowledge, Languages, arts, and music.

Vasant Panchami festival is well famous in North, West of India and heartily worship Goddess Saraswati. Most of the farmers are very enthusiast to celebrate this festival which welcomes the spring seasons and we know that the spring season is very useful for farmers for harvesting.
As we know that the famous color of Basant is Yellow and so the people like to wear a yellow dress on this occasion due to the belief in the lucky Symbol of this day.
