The historical information about Mahatma Gandhi.
The correct name of Gandhiji was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. People love to call with love "Bapu, Bapuji, Mahatma Gandhi, M.K. Gandhi and when India became independent, they were honored as "Father of the Nation" in India.
He was an era man. Gandhiji was born on 2 October 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat. And Gandhiji died on 30 January 1948.
He was one of the leading political and spiritual leaders of India's independent movement. He was only an independent fighter who believed only in non-violence and he liberated India from the Britishers.
Those three monkeys of Gandhiji teach us real rules of life; He is the following.
- Meejaru Bandar: The one who has covered the eyes with both his hands, teaches that do not look bad.
- Kikajaru monkey: Who has covered the ears with both his hands, gives the message that does not hear bad.
- Iwazaru Bandar: who has covered the mouth with both his hands, wants to say don't say bad.
All in all:-
"Don't look bad, don't listen to bad; and don't say bad.
Mahatma Gandhi's whole life was his message. He used to say that "Lessons should be learned from your mistakes, mistakes are like a sweep that clean up the entire room; likewise, a lesson from a mess can clean up the inner evil of man".

- 1917: Champaran Movement
- 1918: Kheda Satyagraha
- 1919: Khilafat Movement
- 1920: Non-cooperation movement
- 1930: Salt March | Dandi Satyagraha - Civil Disobedience Movement
- 1942: Quit India Movement.
Bapu's liking is a hymn which Bapu always chanted; "Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram Pati Tapavan SitaRam, Ishvar Allah Tero Naam, Sab Ko Sanmati De Bhagavan'.It is also known as "Ramdhun".
